The Star Wars saga, created by George Lucas, is one of the most influential franchises in film history. It began in 1977 with Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, introducing audiences to a galaxy far, far away. The original trilogy also included The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). These films follow Luke Skywalker's journey from a farm boy to a Jedi Knight, fighting against the tyrannical Galactic Empire led by Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.
